A Beach to Myself was painted “en plein air” early one morning at Stinson Beach. It was a beautiful morning with the fog barely evident on the horizon. A single beach goer had set up her umbrella in the distance providing a sense of solitude and tranquility.

I painted this early one Saturday morning outside of the Sausalito Cruising Club. It was a beautiful day with a touch of fog lingering.
